Training with the Gods

  • During Krillin and Tien Shinhan's dialogue before fighting, the latter doesn't mention Yamcha at all, just Chiaotzu.
  • In the moving-picture show, Frieza destroyed North Urban center in order to say how-do-you-do, while he did non did this in the saga.
  • Not all of Frieza's soldiers are sent to battle the Z Fighters and the battle is shorter in the film.

The saga was adapted by Dragon Ball Heroes over the Resurrection 'F' Saga and Golden Frieza Saga added in the God Missions. A saga also named the Gilded Frieza Saga was added in SDBH Mission 1 that provided a briefer recap of the saga.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it is known as The Emperor's Return Saga and depicts an altered version of the events due to history changes made past Towa and Mira.

Frieza and his elites on Earth in A NEW POWER AWAKENS Function 2 DLC for Kakarot

In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot equally role of the A NEW POWER AWAKENS Function 2 DLC, adds its iteration of the Golden Frieza Saga. Like to the A NEW Ability AWAKENS Function 1 DLC adapting elements of the God of Destruction Beerus Saga, the game's Aureate Frieza Saga is loosely adapted version of said saga tailored to fit the narrative of Kakarot, due to it taking place in an alternate master timeline created by Towa every bit she gathered energy for Mira'south core after his body was destroyed by the Future Warrior in Xenoverse.   • The Dragon Ball Super manga skipped over this saga, likely in part due to the author Toyotaro having recently drawn the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' (manga) and non wanting to do it all over once again, making it the start saga since the Other World Saga to not appear in the manga. Although the events are mentioned to have happened such equally Frieza returning in the Universe Survival Saga with him mentioning his Golden course.
    • However the manga adaptation stops before the fight betwixt Golden Frieza and Super Saiyan Blue Goku, to encourage readers to become come across the movie (thus Toyotarou may have likewise decided to not adapt the saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga for the aforementioned reasons the adaptation ends earlier Goku's fight with Gilt Frieza).
